Cold Process Lavender Soap

An 80gm bar of heavenly Mayo Garden Lavender flower soap. The traditional hand made soap with the added luxury of organic hand harvested and dried Lavender flowers from our seaside island gardens. The benefits of having lavender soap is that lavender has antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties. This means that lavender soaps are beneficial for the skin and are great for people with acne as the anti-inflammatory properties help with redness and swelling. Meanwhile, being an antiseptic protects your skin from bacteria and fungi. While it helps your skin it also gives out a lovely clean scent. 

You can help the environment when you pick a sustainable soap. These soaps are completely free of palm oil, plastics, parabens and SLS. The vegetable ingredients are organic and fairtrade. This cottage industry uses is animal friendly with the only animal contents are beeswax and tussah silk we use. 

Handmade in Achill this range is made exclusively for Lúnasa. Using traditional methods thes handmade soaps use the cold process soap method. The absence of excessive heat during the making makes the natural glycerin is retained and therefore attracts more moisture to the skin. 

With raw materials from the beaches, mountains and bogs of Mayo the seaweeds, spring water, heather and turf bring a real treat to your bathroom. Flowers, leaves and herbs from local island gardens make the products pure, organic, sustainable and hypoallergenic.
