So we are back up and running. To be honest it's a bit of a shock to the system and I'm finding it hard to get back into the swing of things but one thing I have done is find new stock and new suppliers for 2019. I'm always happy when I find products I love and they are from Irish companies. In all the masses of things available on the market it can be hard to find those hidden gems that the smaller, lesser known makers produce.
Anyway I have finalised our Spring Summer Ranges for 2019 and we've got some exciting new additions and new products from our old suppliers. Our very popular Palm Free Irish Soap has gone vegan which is great news. We have a fabulous new supplier with lovely charm bracelets and earrings from Peppermint in Galway. We placed a order for some quirky nostalgic momentous and we found wonderful new range of clothes. A lovely nautical, smart casual range and to top it off they are from the island of Ireland! It's amazing what's here when you look hard enough. There's new lines coming in from Melaine Hand just in time for Valentine's day and there is exciting new additions to the personalised gifts and cards.
We have exciting things going on in the workshop as well. We will be doing some stay and play Saturday sessions for the young ones and their parents and we will be having an open studio a few times a month where we are hoping teens will come and hang out and get creative if they want to. The can chill in our new made in Mayo Elephant Beanbags (also available for sale in the store) or get busy on the pottery wheel, the sewing machine or one of the other things we have.
Oh I almost forgot we are planning a new menu and following the success of the Taste the World BYO night last year we will be hosting a few more. And Breege and I will be able to put our barrister training into action with our new coffee machine.
So all I can say is here's a few tasters to whet your appetite and watch out for our social media and in store when they arrive.
