Month of May'Eo

With Ballina and Mayo still basking in the outstanding success on the world stage with the President's visit the celebrations aren't over yet. The Saturday of the bank holiday weekend is the annual Mayo Day, a celebration of all the things that make this county great.

The official days events will be based in Ballina which celebrates its 300th birthday this year. Other events will take place across the county and indeed the world and the green and red flags will fly high.

We always have our own celebration for Mayo Day celebrating the 40 plus makers and brands we stock in the shop from across the county. However, this year with the revamp of our online shop we have decided one weekend just isn't enough time to showcase all the incredible talent we have right here on our doorstep.

So starting on Mayo Day and running the whole following 31 days of May we are going to be bringing you Month of May'Eo. Some of our longstanding Mayo suppliers and some new ones.

I've gone through all my old photos as found lots of stunning scenes I've take ovet the years. I'll be sharing a photo a day and encourage you to do the same using the hashtag #monthofmayeo

Join us and show your love for Mayo
